O'Bannon Banking Company was incorporated November 20, 1905 in Buffalo, Missouri, with a mission of providing banking services with a personal approach to our customers, both business and individual. Today, our mission remains unchanged as we continue to provide a tradition of personal service and a wide range of financial products designed for today's busy lifestyle.

In 1977, the bank opened a drive-in facility at the junction of highways 32 and 65 in Buffalo. In 1983, the bank opened a second drive in facility 12 miles South of Buffalo on highway 65. The business community continued to expand along highway 65 and in 1999 the Bank opened a full service branch with drive in facility just south of Buffalo on highway 65.

Recognizing the need to expand beyond Dallas County and Buffalo, Missouri, the bank purchased property in Strafford and Fair Grove, Mo. On December 12, 2002, the bank opened its third full service facility in Strafford. The full service branch in Fair Grove is scheduled for opening in 2003.
